Philanthropy

Your philanthropic giving makes an enormous difference to the team at St Peter's Hospice, directly benefiting our patients and their loved ones.

Major Gifts

A major gift to St Peter's helps ensure that people facing the end of life receive expert, compassionate care - when and where they need it most.

Your support goes beyond keeping services going. It helps us plan for the future, reach more families and offer care with dignity at every stage.

What your gift could do:

  • £2,000 - fund two days of care for one patient in our inpatient unit - covering the full cost of one hospice bed
  • £3,000 - provide 10 overnight nursing shifts in patients' homes, offering vital support and respite for families and carers
  • £5,000 - run our entire Hospice at Home service for a day, helping more people stay in the place they feel most comfortable

Trusts and Foundations

Hospice gardens

Grants from charitable Trusts and Foundations are integral to keeping St Peter's and our services running. They help us care for our patients and families, both in their own homes and at the Hospice. Each grant, no matter the size, means a great deal to us.

Recent grants allow us to...

  • Provide 24-hour care to patients in their homes
  • Purchase equipment for our Inpatient Unit and Day Services centre
  • Support bereaved families and children after the loss of a loved one
  • Reduce costs and increase sustainability with a new electric vehicle and the infrastructure to support it.
