Volunteer with Us

Our kind, dedicated, inspirational volunteers play an essential role in the work we do at St Peter's Hospice in Bristol and the surrounding area. We're always looking for new people to join our more than 1,500 strong team of volunteers. Would you like to get involved?

Volunteering is a win-win. While you're meeting new people and gaining new skills, you'll make a vital contribution to St Peter's Hospice – and to our wonderful Bristol community as a whole.

You can choose from a wide range of rewarding opportunities. There's no need to worry about lack of experience - we'll give you all the training and support you need to thrive in your role.

Keeping our Volunteers Safe

Our primary aim is to keep our patients, volunteers and staff safe, for this reason we have temporarily suspended some of our patient facing roles. We hope this won't be for too long and hope to start recruiting for these roles again soon.

When you're exploring the various volunteering options we will indicate where a role has been withdrawn. If you find that you're particularly interested in a withdrawn role and want to have a chat and add your name to a waiting list, you can contact us on 0117 915 9448 or email volunteer@stpetershospice.org
