Thank you for choosing to donate your items to one of our shops. We welcome your donations and appreciate your support.
All our shops accept donations every day that they are open, with the following exceptions:
Please call ahead if you have a number of bags and boxes to donate.
As always, we can only accept donations that are good enough quality to be sold on in the shops. There are a number of items that we are unable to take in our shops. Please take a look at the full list of items we are unable to accept here. When we receive things that are dirty, broken or poor quality, the Hospice has to pay for them to be taken away which is money we would rather spend on patient care. You can find out more about donating clothes to our shops here.
Please don't leave anything outside the shops, as this is classed as fly-tipping and you may be fined. Please also note, our donation station at Avonmouth and our mobile donation stations are now closed. Thank you.
You can donate your pre-loved treasures and unwanted goods to us for free through the post. It's completely free and easy to do!
The Hospice has partnered up with Sorted.com so that you can post your donations to us for free. Each freepost donation can weigh up to 10kg and be up to 60cm x 50cm x 50cm in size.
We would love to accept your quality pre-loved goods that are in excellent condition. If you loved it, someone else will, too! Right now, we are especially in need of:
Please wrap any fragile items carefully so they don't get damaged on their way to us.
Please don't send us bulky items. We would instead love to receive these at one of our shops. Also, we are unable to take a number of items either by post or in our shops. Please take a look at the full list of items we are unable to accept here.
All donated items need to be in a good, sellable condition. There are also certain items that cannot be sold due to legal and safety reasons and if they are grossly offensive and/or have discriminatory material. Collecting items that we cannot sell in our shops will translate into a cost for disposal for the Hospice.
Please take a look at the list below to find out which items we are not able to take.
