We’re pleased to announce this year's Light Up a Life will take place on the 12 December at 5pm. The service will be streamed online from the Hospice for you to watch at home.
Light Up a Life is more than an annual event we host each year, it is an opportunity to come together as a community to take some time to remember our loved ones who have passed away. It provides us an opportunity to reflect back on memories and all that we have been through as well as celebrate the life and the light of those no longer with us. During our service this year we are exploring the theme of Loss which feels appropriate in a year where so many have lost so much.
There will be personal stories, poems and music as well as a moment of reflection where we will light a candle in memory of our loved ones. We also encourage you to light a candle at home in memory of your loved one during the service.
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19 we are unfortunately not able to host our annual services at St Peter’s Hospice Brentry, Bristol Cathedral and the Salvation Army. Therefore we will only be holding this one virtual remembrance service.
If you would like to join us for the service please book your place by following the link below and you will be sent a link to watch the service the week before.
If you are unable to watch the service from home on this date, then don’t worry as we will be recording it and making it available on our website.
If you would like to have your loved one's name inscribed into our Book of Remembrance which will be available to view after the service, please visit our Book of Remembrance page for more information.Register for the service
