Paul “Scooter” Surridge was a huge Bristol City fan. He followed England where ever they may roam and was one of the first fans of Bristol City to form a close friendship with Willem II and their supporters. He was highly respected among supporters across the country. Paul was one of the best, if not, the best. Paul married Tara in March of 2020 after being diagnosed with cancer. Instead of flowers, the family have asked to make donations to St Peters Hospice. Keep the red flag flying high Paul❤️
Funds from the Bedminster Down meat raffle. We have been fundraising as a community throughout each lockdown for different charities and organisations with a local connection and enabled many people to benefit through the money raised. On the week of Scooter’s funeral we wanted to do the raffle in his memory. He really was a true gent and legend.
Is, and always will be fondly referred to as ‘Uncle Paul’ in our house. RIP Uncle Paul x
RIP Scooter
My heartfelt condolences to all family and friends of Scooter. Such an awful loss and certainly will be so missed by so many. I always enjoyed your company Paul. I'll raise a glass in your memory today. RIP PAUL SURRIDGE. Whitey from Swindon.
You may notice that our website has a new look. Research carried out last year revealed there were many barriers to people accessing our support, so our refreshed branding aims to help break down misconceptions about who we are and what we do.
This is part of a bigger piece of work for us - we're aiming to double the number of people we support by 2030.
