Patricia Claridge

Patricia was an amazing Mum, B-Ma, Wife, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and friend who will be greatly missed by all. She brightened our days with her kind and caring nature and even a mundane phone call to pay a bill would turn into a chat about where they came from or what cats they had lol. She was taken from us all far too soon and before she could really enjoy the beautiful life she had created, but as I always say 'cancer only takes the best ones' and she really was just that. Mum chose to spend her final days at home with us, but St Peter's Hospice were a huge help and support in that short time we had and made sure Mum was as comfortable as possible and had plenty of chats and giggles along the way, especially with the amazing Chrissie who formed a special bond with us all, forming an instant connection with Mum as so many did! It takes a really special person to do the job they do, not only supporting the person but also their family and friends too. Mum's wishes were for no flowers but instead donations to such an amazing charity and to help them help others, as they did for us, at such a difficult time for all involved. Thank you all for your support, kindness and love. Always in our hearts <3
