Mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in July 2020, she fought bravely and was supported from time of diagnosis by St Peters Hospice community team. After a short hospitalisation Mum was moved from Oncology to the Hospice, to live her final days, and passed 28th September 2020. Mum was treated beautifully with dignity, love and respect by each and every member of the Hospice team. From Doctors, to nurses, to health care assistants, they made us feel that Mum was the only inpatient, and all of her wishes were carried out calmly and respectfully. The support that we as her family received in her final days, (and continue to recieve) was comforting and prepared us for Mum's final journey. We will forever be indebted to St Peters Hospice.
Happy Christmas Mum, miss you more and more each day xxx

You may notice that our website has a new look. Research carried out last year revealed there were many barriers to people accessing our support, so our refreshed branding aims to help break down misconceptions about who we are and what we do.
This is part of a bigger piece of work for us - we're aiming to double the number of people we support by 2030.
