Our brave and courageous Nanna, Mother and loving wife passed away on 11th July 2021 her 65th birthday, at home surrounded by her devoted family. Lyn was fun, loving, young hearted, energetic and determined, she loved life! Lyn was diagnosed with a Giloblastoma in August 2019 having an operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy she never gave in and continued to be the head of the family, spending time with those she loved. Throughout the pandemic and in her final weeks St Peters Hospice provided vital and amazing support which enabled Lyn to be at home, providing support to the whole family. St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. We have been established for over 40 years and support up to 500 patients at any one time. The majority of our support is provided in people's homes. Support is focused around the physical, psychological, social and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness, in order to improve the quality of a person's life.
