In loving memory of our grampy John Naish. Who spent his final weeks being cared for at home by all the great people at St. Peter's Hospice. He was a joy to be around, he made everyone in his company laugh. He's going to be missed.
Moira was a unique lady who touched the hearts of all who met her. She was caring, loving, determined, tolerant, joyous, helpful, honest and always saw the good in everybody no matter how bad that person was. She was of a cheerful disposition only liking nice or good things, always offering words of encouragement and help and showing an interest in others. She loved gardens always seeking out new plants and experimenting with them in different locations in our garden. She was loved by everybody and had the ability to say the right thing at the right time. She was very self critical, never boasting of her achievements. In short she was the most wonderful person I have ever known.
We shared nearly 22 fantastic years together spending just 2 nights apart when she was in hospital. Someone recently said to me that, you two are the most complete couple I have ever met. That was a real compliment which she enjoyed. She knew that statement was true and was pleased that it had been recognised. She was very happy with her life in Portishead and together we had reached fulfilment.
This brave and gracious lady underwent her final days with enormous strength and dignity without complaint and died peacefully with me beside her.
The light of my life has been extinguished but the memories will linger forever.
Goodbye my darling, I will always love you xxxx Dave
