David Betts is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Emma, two children, Eve and Maz, his family, friends and all who had the honour of knowing him. David was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine cancer in 2018. His journey with his terminal diagnosis was a long one with many challenges throughout. Despite this he continued to find joy and happiness in even the simplest every day moments. David was a man of many talents and passions. He was a talented photographer, guitar player, a film buff and music lover. The quality he deserves the most recognition for is his devotion to his family and the home he created with his wife, Emma, and two children. David spent his last day at St Peter’s Hospice and died on the 19th April 2023, with his wife and children by his side. St Peter’s Hospice provided an outstanding level of care for David and his family, both when he was at home and when he moved to the hospice. David’s family would appreciate if you could help them raise money for St Peter’s Hospice and their amazing staff to ensure they can offer this level of support for people in the future.
Thank you to all who made cash donations on the day of David’s memorial service.
Always enjoyed working with Dave. A lovely man.
