Please join the family of Janet Rosemary Plumley in celebration of her extraordinary life well-lived. Born in Bristol on September the 4th 1937, she died peacefully on the 22nd of July 2024. While we will miss her sorely, Thomas, Judith and Ben Plumley, with Tom, Will, and Daisy Lansdale will never forget the impact she had on our lives and those around her as wife, mother, grandmother, friend, journalist, political activist, entrepreneur and all-round rebel-rouser and trouble-maker. Her never-back-down, go-getter spirit will continue to inspire us, and everyone whose lives she touched. We trust St Peter has the good sense to be standing to attention as she greets him at the pearly gates. We are honored to support St Peter's Hospice in Bristol (where her grandson Tom Lansdale works) in recognition of the desperately needed crucial support and care they provide people approaching end-of-life care and their families.
