As most people are aware William (Bill) Henry Summers of Severn Beach, formerly Moreton Valence, passed away on Saturday 16th March 2024, aged 78, after a short stay in St Peter’s Hospice in Bristol leaving his wife Ann, son Andrew and daughter in law Nicola, his two grandsons Kaden and Coby and daughter Jo and partner Chris. Most people know Bill fought cancer with all his strength over 11 years, until being told no more treatment on 19th December 2023. The last 12 weeks have been the most terrible rollercoaster but to know he is now peaceful and not suffering is what we are holding on to. Bills wishes were for an Unattended Direct Cremation with his ashes being scattered at his chosen location. We could most definitely not have kept Bill at home for as long as we did without the care and compassion shown to us all by St Peter’s Hospice staff and in Bill’s memory a Tribute Fund donation page will be available for anyone who wishes to contribute to this wonderful Hospice.
The race is now over….. RIP 🏆 🏁 xxx

You may notice that our website has a new look. Research carried out last year revealed there were many barriers to people accessing our support, so our refreshed branding aims to help break down misconceptions about who we are and what we do.
This is part of a bigger piece of work for us - we're aiming to double the number of people we support by 2030.
