When a loved one dies, deciding what to do with their home and possessions can be upsetting and overwhelming. Our aim is to help make this process as stress-free as possible for you. 

We tailor our house clearance service to your needs, so no two clearances are the same. Some of the services we offer include: 

  • Packing and clearing of all items within a property 
  • Garden clearance 
  • Garage / outbuildings clearance
  • White goods removal 

You can make an enquiry by emailing House.Clearance@stpetershospice.org, filling in our enquiry form or calling us on 0800 583 0015. Our team will have a chat with you to find out what you require from us.

Next, our team will meet you at the property to make an initial assessment. They will then email you a quotation and offer you the next available date to complete the clearance. The fee we charge for this service goes directly to supporting hospice patients. 

On the day of the clearance, you don’t necessarily need to be at the property yourself. Our team is happy to do whatever is most convenient for you – they can collect keys via a key safe, neighbours, estate agents etc. 

Items from the clearance are sorted and then sold through our high street shops, eBay shop and auction rooms, generating valuable income for St Peter’s Hospice. So by using this service, you will be helping to fund our important work - thank you so much.

“You provided a fantastic service. You came out and did an assessment really quickly, arranged the clearance really quickly and I thought it was a really reasonable price for a three-bed house and garage.  The two guys who came out on the day were really friendly and helpful - they must have a tough job clearing a deceased estate and were very considerate of how emotional it was for me.  I chose St Peter's Hospice because you provided the majority of the medical care for my mother in the last couple of days of her life. Your nurse who came out to see her the day before she died made suggestions and implemented things that I know made her last couple of days more comfortable and I don't think that would have happened otherwise.
