In memory of Ernest Goddard. Ernie was a great family man and a bon viveur, depicted perfectly in these two photographs, the first at a family wedding and the second one surrounded by his close family in the summer. He died on 6 April surrounded by his family at home and had been supported by the amazing team at St Peters hospice as well as the district nurses. It is his and the family’s wish that we only have one set of flowers on the coffin and we would like donations to St Peters so they can continue with their great work and support other families. He will be greatly missed but his legacy lives on.
I miss you Grandad, you were so supportive and always there for a chat on the phone.
It was an absolute honour to know you. I will always remember you for your humour, generosity and care. Rest in peace dear Ernie xxx

This is part of a bigger piece of work for us - we're aiming to double the number of people we support by 2030.
