Chris Jepson

1949 - 2026

Chris has been a loving and much loved son, brother, husband, father, grandad and friend. He touched so many people's lives and is universally missed by all who knew him. His outlook was always optimistic - for him the glass was always half full, never half empty. He was always full of energy and ideas and fun challenging things to do and places to go. He was passionate about food and cooking, walking, travelling and jazz, amongst many other things. His family meant the world to him and he faced everything in life with courage and enthusiasm. Even when diagnosed with the cancer which brought his life to an end, he approached it with an attitude of “Let’s do as many nice things as we can in the time we have left”. St Peter’s Hospice gave us so much caring support, and their Hospice at Home care enabled Chris to die very peacefully at home surrounded by those whom he loved most, and who loved him deeply. St Peter’s receives very limited funding support from the NHS. Do please give them your support so that they can give others the care they gave Chris. That will be hugely comforting to those he left behind and we are profoundly grateful for your support. Thank you very much.

Thank you for all the care you all gave us both while Chris was ill. He died at home very peacefully, in our arms, and your carers and nurses contributed hugely to that peaceful passing.
