Philanthropy

Your philanthropic giving makes an enormous difference to the team at St Peter's Hospice, directly benefiting our patients and their loved ones.

Major Gifts

Without you, we simply couldn't provide our patients and their families with the care they need. By giving us a major gift, you can play a crucial role in helping us provide vital care to patients and their families. Our services rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters.

Your gift not only helps fund our core work and new projects – it also means we can plan with confidence.

Trusts and Foundations

Hospice gardens

Grants from charitable Trusts and Foundations are integral to keeping St Peter's Hospice and our services running. They help us care for our patients and families, both in their own homes and at the Hospice. Each grant, no matter the size, means a great deal to us.

Recent grants have allowed us to...

  • Provide 24-hour care to patients in their homes
  • Develop our Inpatient Unit and meet some of the running costs
  • Support bereaved families and children after the loss of their loved ones
  • Purchase specialist medical equipment, improving the care we can provide

What we offer philanthropists and charitable trusts

  • Personalised support from a member of our Philanthropy team
  • Invitations to exclusive events
  • Tailored propositions
  • A choice of how your donation is used. You can leave it to us to use your donation wherever the need is greatest, or you can give to a specific programme or area of work such as our Bereavement Support Team
  • The chance to see first-hand the impact of your donation through visits to our Hospice and hearing from our expert nursing staff

A member of our Philanthropy team will keep you updated on the impact of your donation, ensuring updates are tailored to your interests.

Make a Donation

Since 1978, when our very first community nurses reached out to our very first patients, we've been caring for people with life-limiting illnesses in Bristol and the surrounding areas free of charge.

We can only do this with the generosity of our supporters. Please donate to St Peter's Hospice today so that we can keep helping families when they need us most. Thank you so much.
