Our courses

St Peter's Hospice has always had a strong commitment to the learning and development of its own staff and those caring for dying people in other settings.

The Learning and Development department has been an established centre for provision of palliative care education for over 30 years, and is recognised both locally and regionally for its expertise in providing education that is current and aimed at developing clinical practice.

Providing care for people living with life limiting illness can pose many challenges for practitioners. We believe it is important to equip people with knowledge and skills to help them feel confident when providing care.
