Terms and Conditions

1) These terms and conditions are the Raffle Rules. By entering the raffle, either by post, online or face to face, entrants agree to be bound by these rules

2) This raffle is being promoted by and on behalf of St Peter's Hospice, Charlton Road, Brentry, Bristol, BS10 6NL. Registered Charity No 269177

3) This raffle is licensed by the Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005

4) To enter the raffle, you must be a resident of Great Britain and aged 16 (sixteen) or over

5) If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the stake will be returned.

6) Entries are £1 each and multiple entries can be purchased

7) In order to promote responsible gambling, St Peter's Hospice reserves the right to restrict the number of tickets a person can buy to 60

8) All raffle entry sales are final and no refunds shall be made at any time. All entrants acknowledge that their payment of £1 per entry to enter the raffle does not guarantee that they will win any prize

9) The closing date is midnight on Tuesday 15 December. Any entries received after this date will be treated as a donation

10) The draw for the prize will be made at the St Peter's Hospice Fundraising Office, Long Ashton, Bristol and is to be held on Tuesday 22 December. You do not need to be present at the draw to win the raffle

11) The draw will be conducted using a Random Number Generator that has been tested and approved by an independent, Gambling Commission approved, third party test house. The results of the draw are final

12) Full payment for each ticket must be made in advance before the ticket can be entered into the draw. Only tickets for which full payment has been received in the form of cleared funds is eligible to win the prize. Any late entries will be treated as donations.

13) No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received by St Peter's Hospice for whatever reason

14) Where a cash prize is awarded, this will be made by cheque in the name of the entrant only

15) The winners of the raffle prizes will be notified by phone. If we cannot reach a winner by phone, we will try email and/or letter where we hold the appropriate contact details.

16) If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by St Peter’s Hospice to contact the winner, then St Peter’s Hospice will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it thinks fit. The winner has one month after notification to claim the prize

17) St Peter's Hospice reserves the right in exceptional and unforeseen circumstances to substitute any of the non-cash prizes acquired for the raffle for a similar prize at St Peter's Hospice’s absolute discretion

18) The winners contract in respect of the non-cash prizes is directly with the supplier of the prize, and St Peter’s Hospice shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect and/or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or any part of it. There may be certain conditions attached to some prizes

19) All entrants are solely responsible for providing St Peter's Hospice with their accurate and up-to-date contact details and St Peter's Hospice will be in no way liable for any failure or inability to contact any entrant due to any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the contact details that the entrant has provided. In the event that an entrant changes their contact details, they will be solely responsible for advising St Peter's Hospice of the change

20) By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to take part in promotional activity and St Peter's Hospice reserves the right to use the name and address of the winner, their photograph and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity unless prior notification has been received

21) St Peter's Hospice shall not be liable to the member for any loss or damage suffered or arising from:-
• any delays or failures in any software or other systems used by St Peter's Hospice for the administration of the raffle
• any delays or failures in the Banking system used by St Peter's Hospice or the member
• any failure to enter a chance into the draw
• any event beyond the reasonable control of St Peter's Hospice

22) Nothing within these terms and conditions shall create or should be construed as creating any form of contract between any entrant and St Peter's Hospice

23) Any complaints relating to the raffle should be sent in writing to St Peter's Hospice giving full details of the complaint and supporting documentation

24) St Peter's Hospice is committed to protecting your privacy. Data that is collected is used lawfully in accordance with Data Protection rules and legislation. Please see our Privacy Policy on our website for more information on how we use your data

25) In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, the decision of St Peter's Hospice shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into

26) St Peter's Hospice reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. If St Peter's Hospice does this, it will publish the amended rules

27) St Peter's Hospice reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules

28) St Peter’s Hospice reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the raffle in whole or in part in St Peter’s Hospice sole discretion

29) The St Peter's Hospice member responsible for the promotion of the raffle is Jayne Clarke, Director of Income Generation

31) Each entrant should retain a copy of these terms and conditions for their reference

32) A copy of these rules may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to St Peter's Hospice , 2nd Floor, Estune Business Park, Wild Country Lane, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9FH

33) The Laws of England and Wales shall govern the interpretation and/or enforcement of these terms and conditions and St Peter's Hospice and all entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts
