Tour de Bristol: Virtual Ride

Bike and Helmet

Riders are responsible for the perfect technical condition of their bike. Please make sure your bike is in good working order before you set off on your ride.

Safety-approved cycling helmets are compulsory. We recommend cycle helmets complying with ANSI Z90/4 or SNELL standards. Cycling shoes, shorts and jerseys are also recommended.

Route

Please familiarise yourself with the route you have chosen. If you are creating your own route, we recommend you plot it out in advance so that you are confident of the distance and that you can safely complete it.

If you are using one of our suggested routes, please make sure to take a map with you or downloaded onto a garmin. Our routes are not being regularly checked, so there may be roadworks or other changes along the way so stay aware. They are also not signed with arrows.
