Two lifelong friends, Sam and Chris, are set to climb the three tallest mountains in Great Britain to raise money for the Hospice.

They will take on the Three Peaks Challenge, aiming to complete it in just 24 hours to raise money following the terminal cancer diagnosis three years ago for Sam's beloved dad - Simon.

Despite several rounds of chemotherapy, the disease has continued to spread and Simon and his family will soon seek care from our Hospice nurses.

Sam said, "My dad has given me and my family the greatest life possible and the thought of him not being here is unimaginable.

"The grief and heartache us and so many other families and loved ones face on a daily basis is a real life nightmare."

Sam and Chris have already surpassed their original target before getting to the foot of the first mountain, so they are hoping to raise an even greater amount over the course of their climbs.

"Please support Chris and I with taking on this challenge. Together we can all make a difference." Sam added.
