How you can help us
As well as taking part in any of the events above your staff can help raise funds for St Peter’s Hospice themselves. Be as creative as you like and develop fundraising events to suit your company. Your ideas are often the best ideas!
Example staff fundraising ideas – some suggestions could include:
- An Olympic themed sports day – join in the excitement of the 2012 London Olympics
- Duvet day – an extra days holiday is offered and people buy £5 raffle tickets to win it
- Lunch less – everyone brings in their lunch and donates the money they would have spent to charity
- Cake sale
- Swear boxes
- Sponsored bike ride
- Sweepstake – for a sporting or topical event
- All change please – ask everyone to donate all the loose change found in their drawers and desks
- Promises auction – people offer their skills (cake baking, gardening, bike fixing etc) in a charity auction
- Jail break – each team needs to get as far away from the starting location for free
- Guess the baby! – bring in baby photos and pay to play – winner gets a prize
- Blind wine tasting
- Art exhibition

- Swishing party – take your unwanted to clothes and swap with colleagues

- Sponsored green travel to work – sponsor people to avoid car travel to work for a particular period
