St Peter's Hospice in collaboration with The
University of the West of England offers a variety of
options relating to both a
Diploma in Professional Studies
and now a
BSc (Hons) in Palliative Care
Care of the Dying Person and their Family
(20 credits level 2 / 3) (Equivalent to
ENB931)
This 12 week module offers practitioners working in a variety of different clinical settings the opportunity to extend their knowledge and understanding of palliative care, in order to enhance their skills in caring for dying people.

Theories and concepts in Specialist Palliative Care
(20 credits level 2 / 3) (Equivalent to ENB285)
Specialist Practice in Palliative Care
(20 credits level 2 / 3) (Equivalent to ENB285)

These two modules are aimed at practitioners in a Specialist Palliative Care setting or those who are consistently caring for dying people and their families.

Communication Skills in Cancer and Palliative Care
(20 credits level 2 / 3)
An opportunity for practitioners to reflect on and further develop their skills in communicating with people who are experiencing loss or change.
This can be taken independently, or can contribute to BSc Palliative Care & Cancer Care.
